This is a well-designed tripod. This tripod is very sturdy, making it easy to keep the camera steady in the desired position even when using a 500mm lens. Since the tripod has a small diameter when folded, it was easy to store and carry.

Love the Pro Trippd - I use it with my Nikon Z8. I love my new Peak Design Pro Tripod! The only thing that could be improved is the shoe to hold the camera. I removed the two tall Allen screws which enabled me to slide in the Peak Design camera adapter (otherwise it would not snap in (it’s too l...

A Great Purchase I was an original backer of this Kickstarter project. I've had this tripod with tilt/pan for about 10 months and I'm thrilled. It is stable, lighter than most others, easy to setup and use in the field. I use it primarily when I use my long lens and it hadn't disappointed. A great...

Fantastic Tripod I bought this during the kickstarter, based on my experience with other PD products, and it has not disappointed in the slightest. It is lightweight but solid, very stable and easy to operate. The new head is fantastic, easily adjustable with levels and a panning/pano feature. All...

Pro Tripod is my absolute go to The Pro Tripod is a significant improvement to an already fantastic tripod. The new and improved functionality of the head makes this my go to tripod for every shoot.

Great travel tripod. Only had a few excuses to pull this out so far but I love how light it is to pack and how easy it is to set up and pack up. Love the attention to detail that goes into peak design products and this is certainly no exception. I got the biggest version I could and it was tall e...

Much more stable than the Travel version I really like the new Pro tripod. Yes, it is significantly heavier and more bulky than the travel tripod, but it is so much more stable and the ballhead works much better in my opinion. Unless it just won't fit with my travel plans, I would always choose th...

Great lightweight but robust Great tripod. Light and very easy to pack. A fullsize tripod that can packed away easily. I've not touched by Gitzo since this was delivered.

Lite and Steady Haven’t used since I’ve been out on disability, but I love it and much lighter than the Manfrotto I’ve used for years and it deploys very easily

Limited range of motion Build quality is top notch, my only regret is the limited angle to shoot straight down, which is a blocker for intimate landscape kind of work. Sure there is a portrait notch but it is not useful, as the movement is very constrained when the ball head is in there. The trave...

Not very pro… While this is a nice tripod, it is not competitive with pro tripod and ballhead combo (we all know who they are, and have been for 30 years). Where it wins is compactness, and a bit of weight savings since ballhead is integrated. Nice to have as a portable option, but travel tripod m...

Beware, your photography "friends will be jealous! To start off this is my first tripod. I have been a PD fanboy for a min tho and been eyeing the travel tripod for some time. After watching way to many videos comparing the differences between the tripods, I set the pro light for its added feature...
