Amazing sturdy tripod Amazing sturdy tripod. I’ve used it in very harsh conditions in the Himalayas, Iceland and Botswana. The tripod has held up fantastically for photo, video and time lapse. It’s easy to carry and deploy. The size and weight are just great, I’ve travelled with it as checked lugg...

By photographers, for photographers—a joy to use I got mine from the Kickstarter campaign. This is already the third time I've learned about new Peak Design products through Kickstarter, and as always, I'm thrilled with what Peak Design produces.

Good upgrade I love the students the stiffness And overall quality. But I found problem with the video head because when I put the video hit on the tripod I have to use the Arca face plate it's not good because On tripod I don't need to use it I can use my small cage So maybe you should think abou...

Super compact, super easy to use and super stable. I bought this as part of the initial start-up arrangement because I’d used one of the smaller PD tripods for my smaller camera and loved it, but wanted to replace the set-up I used when mounting a Z9 with longer lenses in tougher conditions. The ...

I love it I've had three tripods, the first one was a cheap light travel tripod, OK for a bridge camera back in the day, but it kept coming apart. So, I updated it with the old Peak Design aluminium one, and I still have it, It's ok for stuff near home but I found I wasn't taking it when I really ...

Best tripod in its class. Very tall (useful for de Best tripod in its class. Very tall (useful for deep sky objects observation with a spotting scope) Light weight but sturdy. Cleverly designed. Nice carring case although I would have like to have some internal pockets.

Answer to hand pain... I have had many high quality professional tripods during my photo career. I was always partial to the twist lock legs. But as I aged these became harder and harder to operate due to arthritis in my hands. The lever locks on the new pro tripod were the answer! The legs are ea...

My new favorite tripod I've been using my new Pro Tripod for 8+ months now and couldn't be happier with my purchase. I bought it to use primarily as a travel tripod, but it has since replaced my other heavy duty carbon fiber tripod. This one is very sturdy, easy to use and easy to pack in a suitca...

Excellent tripod Very robust and sturdy. Well engineered and thought out. Kinda bombproof. Have the original. Although somewhat larger, heavier, is incredibly stable. Not necessarily the lightest, smallest for backpacking, if it meets your use needs you can’t go wrong. No regrets.

Improved Legs but Problematic Head Significant design flaw. The head is not universally Arca Swiss compatible. I almost lost my 180-600 Nikon lens in Africa as the Arca plate does not reliably engage the locking mechanism. This mechanism needs to be moved slightly to be more universal. I bought tw...

The perfect mix of stability, simplicity, and size I rarely write reviews, but this one's a winner. Just got bsck from a week of photographing Iceland - whipping winds and crazy weather were standard fare every day, and this tripod held it's own. It's super easy to adjust, and really solid. I have...
