The nifty 50 A nifty 50 lens does just about everything, from landscapes to intimate portraits. Sony's 50mm 1.4 GM is best of breed. While not the lightest, its heft is not great. Close focus and bokeh are superb.

new favourite I got a 24 70 gm ii , I was so hesitant to get this one cause gm ii is a great lens already, and it covers 50mm. But I am so happy I bought 50 1.4 gm… beautiful beautiful beautiful background blur, beautiful color.
