It was a nightmare of a build.
For the first time I couldn't wait for a build to be finished. I had missing pieces, used wrong colours because the blues are so similar and I just didn't enjoy the build at all! It took me weeks to complete it.

If I could give this a 6+ I would. Not a difficult build but so beautiful. Even my husband who, a) usually thinks legos are ugly & b) has an art and design degree (so a bit of an art snob) suggested we display it in our living room! No prompting from me! He construido en su mayoría sets para adultos y este puedo decir ha sido el más difícil que he tenido la paciencia de construir. Hay piezas muy pequeñas y elementos muy complejos mi recomendación sería que solo lo compraras si crees tener la dedicación de poderlo armar. Una vez armado es una joya. Build overall looks great but this was very difficult. I've been building sets for nearly 20 years now and this set by far was just the most unfun set to build. It's gorgeous, it really is, and the fact that it actually can hang on a wall like a real picture is fantastic. Honestly, though, my favorite part is that someone thought to have you build the van Gogh minifig and easel first so that you could have him as a little buddy while you built his painting.... Everything about this set is extremely chill. Although there's a lot of repetition in the build (especially when building the sky) I found it relaxing, rather than tedious; there's a variety of advanced building techniques to create the complex shapes, but nothing is overly fiddly or fragile; and th... Apart from the background (ie the line of blue tiles that sit behind everything else) I thoroughly enjoyed this build. The way it's constructed and fits together is clever. I had a lot of fun building this set. I love the layering in it to make the 3D effect. The one thing that was most annoying is that sooo many of the colors look the same!!! As much as I wanted to like this set because of how cool it looks with its 3D effect I was missing 2 pieces! Which by the way it’s annoying. (Yes I separated all the pieces by color) very annoyed with Lego as they are not capable of making sure every single pieces is there for such an expensive set....
