Great addition So far this has been a great addition to the M4 mini. I paired it with a WD Black 770 SSD and use it for my time machine backups. Time will tell for the longevity of the the product but as of now it’s a must have.

The Missing Part The stand and hub add the needed USB A functionality back into the Mac Mini front panel. With the very high price of Mac Mini storage upgrades, having the option to add inexpensive m2 SSD storage in a “permanent” accessory is a real plus. This add-on is a no- brainer!

Disappointed There are cosmetic issues, see in the photo. But more than that, I was expecting a more "lock-in" mechanism, whether it was with magnets or somehow else, but my cat easily can knock it as it barely stands on top. The rubber doesnt do much to hold it in place.

Exactly what I expected and no heat issues from an NVMe ssd. I got this primarily as an SSD Enclosure. It's working as expected.The fact that it makes access to the on/off button a little easier, that it provides more ports and that it looks like it is part of the Mac mini is gravy. On top of that...
