Great concept fails in execution

Glad we bought this product, great suction as witnessed by all users, and for a refurbished model, no issues at all. The only thing I suggest for future models is a brake for the wheels, especially when trying to use the wand. When attempting to use the wand, the vacuum rolls/travels with you unless... We are Dyson fans! Have them at home and the lake. But this Multi Floor 2 does not work on carpet. And we have low pile carpet; NOT the thick shaggy stuff. It has too much suction, and then the suction stalls the motor/brushes. And if you have an area rug - it will suck it right up. We now have fold... Stay Clear. Terrible Machine

I have been using a DC25 for 8 years and never had any issues. I thought to upgrade to an Animal Ball 2 and I am really disappointed in some of the "improved" features. Fabulous suction!!
When they say it has twice the suction power, it really does. I can almost feel the carpet being slightly lifted as it goes over a spot.
